The Purgatory Project David's Album

This is a group officially formed tonight, mostly so that I could list it on this website. Paradoxically, we have been working in the studio on our album for almost 10 years. As soon as it is ready, we will unleash it on an unsuspecting world. No, really. We really will. Hey, that Merry Qwispmas album happened. I have the videotape to prove it!

We changed the name again, but I forgot it again. I thought The Dave Thomas Project was a good idea, but I was thinking Wendy's and he was thinking the Canadian, so it was too confusing.

May 30, 1999 -
Well, we need to change the name again. Mindy doesn't like Misoan. I think we have to call it Mhton.

July 16, 1999 -
Yes! A new name! This is actually an old name that David thought up for another project, but I am now officially stealing it for this, especially since stealing this name is all I have done for this album for several weeks. Just don't tell David!

OK. Now I know how things really are. This is David's Album, and I am a mere puppet. So, now, I can write awful stuff, since it is all David's Album. Last week, he slipped and referred to it as "his album," so, now I know where I stand. I am a mere junior collaborator, brought on the project for my incredible reputation (that is, no one believes that I am very good). Even Mindy referred to this as "David's Album." How presumptuous of me to think I had an equal position! I apologize.
