Take, for example, the movie we just watched, Blues Brothers 2000. I do not know a single critic who liked the movie, but it was great. Or Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. The early reports from critics were "luke warm" and even Doug and Tracia didn't like it, and they like everything Star Wars. They have dozens of Darth Vaders all through their house, but they were horribly disappointed by The Phantom Menace. I don't get it. The Phantom Menace was a really good film. Just what I expected from a Star Wars prequel. And Blues Brothers 2000 was just what I expected from a Blues Brothers sequel. Maybe I'm just better at anticipating. Maybe I should be a critic.
At last, I can start suffering and write that symphony!
That wasn't really my first impression of critics. Just the first one I published. You understand.
